Driving instructor training since 1996
Driving instructor training cost
Tony Phillips offers independent, one on one, driving instructor training on a pay as you go, or pre-paid basis.
How much it will cost you to become a driving instructor depends, to a large degree, on where you go for your training and how much training you need. We all learn at a different rate from each other and some of us need more training than others.
Tony Phillips doesn’t demand large lump sums in advance. Unlike most other training organisations, your training course is based around your individual needs, which means that you will only pay for the training that you need and at an affordable rate.
Tariff
1. 2 hours (premium rate) - £37.50 per hour - min payment £ 75
2. 10 hours (prepaid) - £35.00 per hour - min payment £ 350
3. 40 hours or more (prepaid) - £32.50 per hour - min payment £1300
The above charges are for personal in-car 1-2-1 tuition for any section of the training i.e. theory (part 1); driver development (part 2); instructional training (part 3/check test).
4. Lump sum whole course (prepaid) - £2,750.00
(80 hours Part1, 2 and 3 in-car 1-2-1 tuition plus use of dual controlled fully ADI insured car for 2 practical tests plus reference books/dvd)
Refunds for advanced payments will be given on request for any unused funds (except for Tariff 4 where special conditions apply). Any refunds will be given as per the formula mentioned in the Terms and Conditions.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, debit/credit cards, or by direct payment into the account by BACS.
Terms and Conditions apply to all the above.
Why waste your time and money with an organization that lumps you in with every one else and works on a ‘one course fits all’ mentality? Even bad training isn’t cheap, but good quality training from Tony Phillips is very economical, cost effective and competitive.
